The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art is located at 600 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06103.
PLEASE NOTE: The Avery Memorial entrance accessible to visitors with disabilities will be closing soon due to the construction on Atheneum Square North. A temporary ramp accessible to visitors with disabilities has been constructed at the museum’s Main Street entrance in anticipation of closing the Avery Memorial accessible entrance for construction. Please approach the Main Street entrance from Burr Mall to bypass the stairs and access the ramp.

- Front Street South Garage
39 Front Street (located in the Front Street District across from the Connecticut Convention Center, accessible via Columbus Boulevard to Arch Street)

Before 5 pm: $3 first hour; $2 each additional hour
Saturday & Sunday, weekdays after 5 pm: $5 flat fee
- Trumbull-on-the-Park Garage

- On-Street Parking
Two-hour kiosk parking is available at $1 per hour. The kiosks accept coins, debit cards, and credit cards. Display the printed parking receipt on the dashboard inside your vehicle. Please observe posted signs. Some areas are tow zones after 3:30 pm on weekdays. On-street parking is always FREE after 6 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.
- Handicap Parking
Limited handicap parking is available on Prospect Street, near the museum entrance on Atheneum Square North, and also in front of City Hall on Main Street. All kiosk parking is free with a valid handicap pass. Due to the Travelers Plaza construction and closure of Atheneum Square North, the Avery Memorial accessible entrance will be closing shortly. A temporary ramp accessible to visitors with disabilities has been constructed at the Main Street entrance. Please approach the Main Street entrance from Burr Mall to bypass the stairs and access the ramp.
- DASH circulator bus, a free shuttle which makes several stops around the city, can be used to get from various parking garages to the museum.
- CT fastrak stops very close to the museum for visitors coming from Bristol, Plainville, Farmington, or New Britain.
