Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
Join us on June 11 for a free Juneteenth Family Day, and experience the transforming art of MATRIX 174 artist Vanessa German. Share a moment with the artist in Eye Contact is an Act of Love, followed by a procession of poetry, music, and dance. Museum admission is free during Juneteenth Family Day activities.
