Where does your strength come from? Find your own inner strength and celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. through art-making, performances, and tours for all ages.

Performances & Workshops

10:30 am & 11 am | Guided Gallery Meditation with Downtown Yoga in Morgan Great Hall
12 pm – 12:15 pm | “I Have a Dream” Live Reading
1 pm – 1:30 pm | Studio 860 Dance Performance

2 pm – 2:45 pm | Freedom: In Three Acts
Developed in partnership with The Amistad Center for Art & Culture, Freedom: In Three Acts tells three stories of African American history through music and dance. Performance followed by a Q&A with Bated Breath Theatre Company.

All Day Activities

Create your own peace stone with the Hartford Seminary International Peacemakers, explore abstract color-scapes, join artists and art instructors from the Art Connection Studio in creating a collaborative community mandala, sketch in the galleries, and more!
