Teacher Discovery Pass
Book a docent-guided visit for your students and receive a Teacher Discovery Pass! This one-time free pass allows you to explore our permanent collection and special exhibitions as you plan curricular connections to make back in the classroom. This pass expires the day before your class visit.

Free Family Pass
All students who visit for a docent-guided tour receive a free pass to return to the museum, where they are encouraged to act as tour guides for their families. Passes are given to teachers upon the completion of their class visit.

School Library ARTpass
School libraries can purchase a museum ARTpass for circulation within their academic institution. Each pass provides free general admission to two adults and two youth age 17 and younger. Foster family learning by calling (860) 838-4076. Limited to one pass per school.

Auerbach Art Library
The Wadsworth Atheneum’s 43,000-volume Aurbach Art Library is one of the most comprehensive museum libraries in New England. The library is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 5 pm.

Educator Memberships
Discounted museum memberships are available for professional educators at Individual ($35) and Household ($50) levels.

Membership benefits include: free general admission to the museum and The Amistad Center for Art & Culture; invitations to members-only events; discounted admission to films and other paid events; the quarterly Members Calendar; and a 10 percent discount in The Museum Shop and the Cafe.
